Market capitalization value of the Indonesia Stock Exchange touched the highest record at IDR 6,481.83 trillion by the end of last week. Meanwhile, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) recorded at 5,915.36 points, increasing 0.36 percent from the previous week.
Consumer goods sector posted the highest increase by 6.35 percent to 2,518.12 points, supported by manufacturing sector by 4.22 percent to 1,470.75 points, mining by 1.72 percent, property and real estate by 1.62 percent, infrastructure by 1.52 percent, miscellaneous industry by 1.27 percent, trading and services by 1.14 percent,
financial by 0.86 percent, and agriculture by 0.36 percent.
The average daily transaction volume increased by 28.22 percent to 9.76 billion shares, as well as the average value by 10.03 percent to IDR 6.43 trillion and the average frequency by 12.22 percent to 326,110 times. Foreign investors recorded net sell amounting to IDR 1.68 trillion.
Rimo International Lestari Tbk (RIMO) was the top volume with 2.8 billion shares worth IDR 906.05 billion. Astra International Tbk (ASII) was the top value worth IDR 1.3 trillion with volume of 166 million shares.
Rimau Multi Putra Pratama Tbk (CMPP) was the top gainer with 133.85 percent to IDR 304, while Century Textile Industry Tbk (CNTX) posted the top loser with 22.54 percent to IDR 550. (*)
