Potential issuance of bonds, medium-term notes (MTN), Sukuk, and asset-backed securities (ABS) is estimated to reach IDR 43.59 trillion in the third quarter of 2017. Bonds are still dominating with a value of IDR 18.67 trillion.
Hendro Utomo, Vice President of Financial Institution Ratings Pefindo, said the potential issuance is reflected in the mandate received by the company. “There are 37 companies with an emission value of IDR 43.59 trillion,” said Hendro.
The bond issuance value consists of the new secondary public offering of IDR 5.3 trillion, realization plan of IDR 4.07 trillion and bonds of IDR 9.3 trillion. The MTN value is IDR 13.82 trillion, while sukuk is IDR 1.1 trillion and securitization (ABS) is IDR 10 trillion.
As of August 2017, the company has ranked 59 companies with IDR 109.73 trillion. With the potential for new issuance, the total issuance is expected to reach IDR 153.32 trillion. The issuance value is higher than last year’s issuance amounting to IDR 126.5 trillion. (*)
